Lot Notes

Very rare Swiss-made SIG P75/P220 pistol chambered in 9×19, Swiss Army marked and featuring the early “humpback” style slide profile. This example is an A-prefix Army issue pistol with the Swiss crest on top of the slide. It is all numbers matching and remains mechanically excellent, with a mirror bore. The slide shows slight holster wear, consistent with service handling, and the pistol comes with one magazine.

The P75 is the Swiss military designation for the SIG P220, adopted in 1975 as the replacement for the earlier SIG P210/P49. Collector references note that the P75 kept Swiss service-pistol quality while moving to a more modern design, including a folded sheet-metal slide and alloy frame rather than the more expensive all-machined P210 construction. Early Swiss Army P75 pistols are especially desirable for their A-prefix military serials, Swiss crest slide marking, 9×19 chambering, matching numbered components, and early production features. This matching Swiss Army example with mirror bore and only slight holster wear is a strong collector-grade P75.
