What we collect

When you place an order or create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, and order details. For firearm orders we also collect the receiving FFL dealer you choose. Payment card details are entered into our payment processor’s form and are not stored on our website.

When you contact us, sign up for emails, or submit a form (for example Sell to OSA or an appraisal request), we collect the information you enter.

When you browse the site, we collect technical data such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and how you arrived at the site.

How we use it

We use your information to process and ship orders, coordinate transfers with your FFL dealer, meet federal and state recordkeeping requirements, prevent fraud, answer your questions, and improve the site. If you sign up for marketing emails, we use your email address to send them; every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep your cart and login working, to remember your preferences, and to measure site traffic. Login cookies last for two days, or two weeks if you select “Remember Me.” Cart cookies are cleared when your session ends. Analytics cookies are set by Google Analytics.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The cart and checkout will not work without them.

Who we share your data with

We share only what each party needs to do its job:

• Payment processor, to charge your card.
• Fraud screening service, to review orders for fraud.
• Shipping carriers and fulfillment partners, to deliver your order. Some items ship directly from our distributors.
• Your receiving FFL dealer, to complete a firearm transfer.
• Email and analytics providers, to send order and marketing emails and measure site traffic.
• Government agencies, when required by law.

We do not sell your personal information.

Embedded content from other websites

Some pages include embedded content such as videos or maps. Embedded content behaves as if you visited the other website, and that website may collect data about you and use its own cookies.

How long we retain your data

We keep order records for as long as we need them for tax, accounting, and legal purposes. Firearm transaction records are kept as long as federal law requires. If you have an account, you can view and edit your profile information at any time.

What rights you have over your data

You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We cannot delete records we are required to keep for legal, tax, or security purposes. To make a request, email sales@oldsteelarsenal.com.

Children

This site is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.
