This Heckler & Koch VP9 is chambered in 9mm and comes with two 17 round magazines. It is in like new condition and is offered as an open box item, complete with its original box and paperwork.
Heckler & Koch released the VP9 in June 2014. The VP in the name stands for Volkspistole, and the pistol is striker fired and chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum, with a companion VP40 offered in .40 S&W. The standard barrel is 104mm and a 127mm long slide version has also been made, the US pistol weighing about 753 grams with an empty magazine. Magazines have been offered in fifteen, seventeen and twenty round capacities. The design uses ambidextrous slide releases on both sides and a grip that can be tailored with three changeable backstraps and six side panels, and the polymer frame carries a full size Picatinny MIL-STD-1913 rail. Sights are supplied as irons or as factory fitted tritium night sights. In January 2020 Heckler & Koch revised the pistol, making a slide cutout for mounting red dot optics, the higher capacity seventeen round magazines and revised sights standard. The pistols are made at Heckler & Koch's Oberndorf factory in southwest Germany.
