Lot Notes

Sako Triace semi-automatic target pistol, complete in its original box/carry case. This example includes both the .22 LR and .32 S&W barrel/slide units, one magazine for each caliber, the factory tools, the original box, and a Finnish-language firearm book that records the pistol's rental and use history. According to that book, the pistol was fired on only two occasions, in 1981 and in 1986. All parts are in excellent condition, with sharp rifling and a mirror bore.

The Sako Triace is a Finnish-made competition pistol built around interchangeable barrel, slide, and magazine units, allowing a single frame to be configured across .22 Short, .22 Long Rifle, and .32 S&W Long (wadcutter) — the three chamberings that give the "Triace" its name. Designed for ISSF/UIT 25-meter events (rapid-fire, standard, and centerfire), it features a frame and upper milled from solid steel and is well regarded for its accuracy. The Triace was produced in very limited numbers, making complete cased, multi-caliber examples like this one uncommon on the collector market.
