This Glock 40 Gen4 MOS is chambered in 10mm Auto, not .40 S&W, and is the long slide model built on the 6.02 inch barrel. Four 15 round magazines are included, along with the original box and paperwork. The pistol has a very low round count.
Glock introduced the G40 early in 2015, rolling out the Modular Optic System across the Gen4 line alongside the 9mm G34, the .40 S&W G35 and the .45 ACP G41. The G40 was aimed squarely at handgun hunting: a long slide 10mm on a 6.02 inch barrel, 9.49 inches overall with an 8.19 inch sight radius, 5.47 inches tall and weighing 28.15 ounces unloaded, holding fifteen rounds with a trigger pull of about five and a half pounds. Its frame, recoil assembly, controls and magazines come from the Gen4 G20. The MOS slide arrives milled, drilled and tapped to take a removable plate set between the chamber and the rear sight, and the system ships as a package of four numbered optics base plates with screws and a small wrench, so a reflex sight can be fitted without a new slide or a separate mount. Gen4 features include the rough texture grip frame, a two inch accessory rail, removable backstraps and an enlarged reversible magazine release.
