Our gunsmith modifies your firearm so it meets the legal requirements of your state — for example a California-compliant configuration — before it ships to your FFL.
Pricing
- $100 is our standard rate, and it is what the great majority of firearms cost.
- The final price depends on the actual firearm. A small number of unusual or more involved conversions cost more — if yours is one of them, we will tell you the price before any work starts.
What the service covers
- Gunsmith labor for the compliance work on one firearm.
- Function check after the work is done.
What it does not cover
- Parts are not included. The price is labor only. Any parts the conversion needs (fixed-magazine devices, featureless grips or stocks, muzzle devices, 10-round magazines and the like) are extra.
Parts: your choice
- Send us your own parts and we will install them, or
- We buy the parts for you and bill them at cost before the firearm ships.
After you order
Please contact us after placing your order so we can confirm which firearm the service is for, what your state requires, and how you want to handle parts. Work starts once that is settled.
