Postwar German-production Walther PP chambered in 7.65mm (.32 ACP), serial number 365102, bearing a 1966 Ulm proof. This example is fitted with a scarce Walther left-handed safety/decocker conversion system developed in the mid-1970s. The conversion relocates the safety/decocker from the standard left side of the slide to the right side for left-handed use, using purpose-made Walther-pattern hardware and corresponding factory-style slide machining around the rear serrations. Internally it retains the normal PP/PPK safety/decocking function rather than relying on an added linkage.
Walther supplied these conversion kits for existing PP/PPK pistols, with known institutional use by German police armories. Some Hamburg Police conversions were marked with an “L” under the slide; this example carries no “L” marking, so the exact installer is unknown. The pistol is mechanically excellent, retaining almost all of its factory bluing, with a mirror bore and sharp rifling. Includes one magazine.
