Chinese Factory 26 Type 53 Mosin carbine chambered in 7.62x54R. This example is all matching except for the bolt and remains mechanically excellent. The metal retains over 85% of its original finish, giving the rifle strong overall presentation for a military surplus carbine.
The bore is bright with light frosting and strong rifling. The wood shows storage and handling marks but remains solid. Overall, this Factory 26 Type 53 is a clean and mechanically excellent Chinese Mosin carbine with strong remaining finish, solid wood, and a good bore.
