Lot Notes

Factory 26 Type 56 SKS rifle chambered in 7.62x39mm, manufactured in 1970. This example is in battlefield pickup condition, with wood wear consistent with heavy service use while still retaining most of its original bluing. The rifle is import marked and has a spike bayonet, retaining the classic Chinese military SKS configuration.
The serial numbers match except for the receiver cover. Mechanically, the rifle is excellent, and the bore is mirror bright. With its visible service wear, strong mechanical condition, and clean bore, this Type 56 SKS should make a good shooter with plenty of surplus character.
