Chinese Type 56 SKS rifle manufactured by Factory 26 in 1971. This example is described as being in battlefield pickup condition, with visible pitting present on the metal parts and honest exterior wear throughout. The rifle is all matching and remains complete with its cleaning rod and folding spike bayonet.
Mechanically, the rifle functions, and the bore is a standout feature: surprisingly clean and mirror bright despite the exterior condition. This Type 56 SKS has strong character, complete military features, and the practical appeal of a service rifle that should make a good shooter while still retaining its worn surplus appearance.
