Consignment 1971 Factory 26-manufactured Chinese Type 56 SKS in an ATI synthetic folding sporter stock. This example has been fitted with a 30-round duckbill-style magazine, muzzle brake, and clamp-on bipod. All remaining serialized parts match, and the rifle is mechanically excellent with a mirror bore.
The consignor insists this “muh deer rifle” was used in the Vietnam War, despite a small and faint import mark visible underneath the barrel. The unconventional price was also insisted upon by the consignor, citing “they don’t make these no more,” “Mil-Spec,” “pre-ban,” and “I know what I got, sonny.” According to the consignor, he has had great success deer hunting with “that thang,” including two deer that allegedly vaporized before “they could make a run for it.” A third deer was reportedly struck by brass shrapnel from “Chinese steel core AP ammo,” though it should be noted that Chinese surplus steel core ammunition is not armor piercing, as the core is mild steel and the projectile contains no brass component. The same outing allegedly hospitalized a game warden via stress-induced brain hemorrhage and caused President Roosevelt to rotate five and a half times in his grave.
Unfortunatelly discounts and free shipping cannot be applied to this item due to the consigner’s request.
