This Nighthawk Custom Lady Hawk is a 1911 chambered in 9mm, carrying serial NCP456xx. It is in like new, unfired condition and is offered as an open box item, coming with one magazine, the factory soft case, and the paperwork, test target and tools.
Nighthawk Custom builds its pistols at Berryville, Arkansas under a One Gun, One Gunsmith philosophy, a single gunsmith taking each pistol from start to finish, and the parts are fully machined. The Lady Hawk is built for smaller hands: it pairs a Commander length 4.25 inch match grade barrel with a frame thinned front to back, Nighthawk's ultra thin Alumagrips, and a thinned front strap and mainspring housing, with a scalloped front and rear texture that is less aggressive than traditional checkering. The slide is stainless with polished flats, a serrated top and forty lines per inch rear serrations, and is finished to rack smoothly. Heinie Slant Pro Straight Eight tritium night sights are fitted. The pistol stands 5.4 inches tall, measures 7.85 inches overall and 1.27 inches across, and weighs 36 ounces empty, feeding from ten round magazines. Nighthawk offers the Lady Hawk in 9mm as standard, with .45 ACP, .38 Super and 10mm also available, and an Officer size frame as an alternative to the Commander.
