Lot Notes

Shooter-grade Yugoslavian K98k rifle made from WWII German parts, with small German inspection marks visible on various small parts. This rifle has a Yugo crest on the receiver and remains in solid mechanical condition, with solid lockup and a smooth action. The bore is bright with sharp rifling, making it a strong shooter-grade Mauser.
The receiver shows small pitting and a frosted finish, this is best used as a practical shooter rather than a high-condition collector rifle. Yugoslavian K98k rebuilds are well-known postwar Mauser variants, often assembled or refurbished using captured German components and later marked with Yugoslavian arsenal features. With its WWII German parts, visible inspection marks, Yugo-crested receiver, strong bore, and smooth action, this rifle offers a solid 8mm Mauser shooting platform with genuine surplus character.
