The Marlin 336 SBL is an American-made lever-action rifle built on the same time-honored 336 action, updated with modern materials. The receiver, lever, and trigger guard are CNC-machined from stainless steel forgings, and the barrel is cold hammer-forged for long-term accuracy and corrosion resistance.
A six-round tubular magazine feeds .30-30 Win, and the oversized lever loop leaves room to run the action with gloves on. The threaded 19.1″ barrel (5/8″-24) accepts muzzle accessories, and a push-button cross-bolt safety adds a manual layer of security. Sighting is handled by a fiber-optic front sight with a tritium insert and an adjustable ghost-ring rear, backed by a Picatinny rail for mounting an optic. The laminate buttstock and forend are checkered for grip and stand up well to weather. Weight is 7.3 lbs.
