What kinds of firearms does Old Steel Arsenal sell?
We focus on military surplus and collectible arms — Mosin-Nagant, Finnish M39, Mauser K98k, Lee-Enfield, M1903A3, Luger P08, Walther/Mauser P38, SIG P226, Browning Hi-Power and more — plus select modern firearms available to order. Can I buy online and have a firearm shipped to me?
Firearms ship to a licensed FFL dealer, not to your door. Buy from us and we’ll ship insured to your local FFL, or pick it up in person in Plano. We ship nationwide.
Can I handpick the exact firearm I receive?
Yes. On product pages that show the Handpick option above Add to Cart, check that box when you order. We’ll email you to ask what matters most — finish and condition, trigger pull, date code — then send photos of the examples in stock that fit. You choose the one you like, and that exact serial number is the one we ship. The Handpick fee is shown next to that option.
How do FFL transfers work, and what do they cost?
If you buy a firearm from another seller, it ships to us and you complete the transfer in person. Our fees are $25 with a Texas LTC, $35 without, and $100 per NFA item. See our full FFL transfer guide for the step-by-step.
Can I sell my gun to Old Steel Arsenal, or consign it?
Both. We buy quality firearms outright for an on-the-spot offer, or sell yours on consignment (you keep 80% of the sale; 20% fee, $75 minimum, 90-day term). See Sell to OSA for details.
Do you buy entire collections or estates?
Yes. We handle single bring-backs and full estates, with professional appraisal and consignment. We’ll tell you honestly what your firearms are and what they’re worth.
Are your firearms Curio & Relic (C&R) eligible?
Many surplus firearms over 50 years old qualify as Curio & Relic. C&R-eligible items can ship directly to holders of a Type 03 C&R FFL. Our milsurp buying guide explains more.
