1943-manufactured Inland M1 Carbine with an Inland 2-43 marked barrel. This example has an unmarked stock and remains in good mechanical condition, with a smooth action and mirror bore. It comes with a GI sling, oiler, and a KSG-marked 15-round magazine. The carbine also features the early push-button safety and a flaming bomb marking on the charging handle/op rod.
Inland Division of General Motors was the largest producer of U.S. M1 Carbines during World War II, and early 1943 examples with Inland-marked barrels remain popular with collectors. The Inland 2-43 barrel date pairs well with the 1943 manufacture period, while the early push-button safety is a desirable original-style feature associated with earlier carbine configuration.
