Lot Notes

The Magpul MBUS (Magpul Back-Up Sight) Front is a low-cost, injection-molded polymer folding back-up sight tailored to the AR-15/M16 platform. It adjusts for elevation, fits most 1913 Picatinny-railed handguards and gives the same height over bore as standard A2 sights. It must be mounted on a railed fore end in the same plane as the receiver rail.

  • Spring-Loaded: Deploys from either side or by pressing the top release
  • Protected Post: Wings shield the spring-locking A2 front sight post
  • A2 Height: Same height over bore as standard A2 sights
  • Adjustment: 1.6 MOA per click with a 14.5″ sight radius; 1.2 MOA with a 20″ sight radius
  • Mounting Limits: Not for railed gas blocks (heat) and not compatible with MOE Hand Guards
